Thesis Statement
In the 1950s, Harry and Bertha Holt became leaders for international adoption when they adopted eight Korean children. Inspired by God to help Amerasian children, they assisted other families in adopting children from other countries. Their legacy is Holt International Children Services, which today is the largest adoption agency in the U.S. with over 40,000 children placed with families in the United States.
